After the computer has been migrated automatically from the Engineering Domain to the UConn domain, the users log into their machines using the NetID and password. After the migration, network locations mapped through HNAS will be disconnected and marked with a red x. To re-connect these drives:

1. Double-click on the drive displaying the red x.

2. When the Windows Security box appears, enter

Username: engr_studentengineering username

Password: engineering password

3. Check “Remember my credentials” and then click OK. When the user clicks ‘OK’ they will be allowed access into their mapped drive. The same process should be repeated for all network drives that show up as disconnected. This process will only need to occur once, immediately after the first login post-migration. Every login after the first one will result in a normal set of mapped drives.
